for 2018
to all of you from all of us at Ontario Breeders Production
Sale and Orchard Park Stables. It has been a busy year
so far. Chad and I took OPS Rapson to Aiken, SC to suss
out the eventing world. We saw lots of great venues and
had successful schools over many courses.
Rapson,
a homebred Irish Sport Horse Stallion, is showing promise
as an eventer. We will post his progress and show results.
I
will be doing an article on the Irish horses I have raised
and sold, and would like all of you that have or had one,
to send us pictures and testimonials to be included in
the article. Please help us do this by reaching out so
we can all stay connected.
Inventory
at Shady Maple Farms, Hawksview Farm and Orchard Park
Stables is at an all-time low. To run a sale, we need
approximately 30 prospects to allow us to choose the top
20 to present to you as bidders. As we don’t have the
numbers, we won’t be able to run the sale for 2018 and
possibly in future years. Our apologies for making this
decision so close to sale time. We’ve been trying to make
it happen but the numbers just aren’t there.
This
is definitely not the end for Ontario Breeders Production
Sale; it is just a new direction! We are excited for what
the future holds and will continue to produce horses that
we are proud of. Steve MacKay, Valerie Williams, and I
have limited stock available for sale privately.
We
